How often do I need to replace the batteries?

Knocki is designed to run for many months using readily available AAA batteries.

Factors affecting battery life include:

1. The brand of batteries used. Batteries from a reputable brand (Energizer, Duracell, Rayovak) are recommended for best performance.
2. More frequent use will necessitate more frequent battery replacement.
3. The "activity level" of a surface can impact battery life.  Very active surfaces such as dining tables or desks will impact battery life more heavily than inactive surfaces such as walls.
